제주도 본섬 남동 지점에 위치한 표선해수욕장은 제주시에서
동부산업도로를 따라 50분, 서귀포시에서 우회도로 1시간 거리(41.4Km : 25.7마일)에 있다. 해변의 총면적은
251천평방미터(97평방마일)인데, 백사장은 160천평방미터(62평방마일)이다. 야영장, 주차장, 공중변소, 탈의 및 샤워장 시설이 갖추어져
잇으며, 바로 인근 표선리에서 민박과 일반 투숙이 가능하다. 이곳의 특징은 썰물시에는 원형의 백사장을 이루고 밀물시에는 수심 1m 내외의 원형
호수처럼 되어 경관이 빼어나다. |

Located in the southeast of
Cheju Island, this beach can be reached from Cheju City in 50 minutes via the
East Industrial Highway, or from Seogwipo City in one hour. This beach covers a
total of 251,000sq. meters with 160,000 sq. miters of witite sands.
This
beach is well equipped with public facilities such as campgrounds, parking lot,
shower and locker rooms, and accomodations including private lodging in the
nearby town.
This beach is well known for the circular white sand at low
tide, and the circular pond formation of about 1 meter water depth at high
tide.
